Your function: 

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Finance Transformation over a 12-month period by enhancing reporting, streamlining finance processes and delivering robust data analysis. You will work closely with finance leadership, business stakeholders and the Project Management Office (PMO)  to support improvement initiatives, business case development and data-led decision-making across the finance function.

Day to day: 

 Finance Transformation

  • Drive continuous improvement across the Finance function by enhancing reporting capabilities, strengthening workflows, and streamlining end-to-end finance processes.

  • Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and deliver more efficient and consistent finance outputs.

  • Support the implementation, documentation, and continuous improvement of best-practice finance procedures, controls, and operating standards.

Data Governance & Analytics

  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. 

  • Develop and enhance finance reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve business visibility and enable data-driven decision-making. 

  • Translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations and insights for Finance leadership and key stakeholders. 

  • Act as Finance Data Steward, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across systems, reporting platforms, and key finance processes. 

Project & PMO Support

  • Support finance transformation and business improvement projects through analysis, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities.

  • Partner with the Project Management Office (PMO) to develop business cases, including financial analysis, benefits assessment, and supporting documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with finance leadership and business stakeholders to understand priorities, communicate project outcomes, and support effective decision-making.

Financial Analysis & Business Support

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes as required by Finance leadership.

  • Provide financial analysis and performance insights to support business decision-making.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and key business drivers, identifying risks and opportunities through data-led analysis.

  • Support month-end reporting, management commentary, and other ad hoc finance activities as required.

 

Your profile: 

 

  • Transformation or business partnering experience 

  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced modelling and analytical skills, knowledge of Power BI; ability to confidently work and analyse large data sets.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and adhere to strict deadlines.

  • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Flexible and able to manage competing priorities

  • Good verbal and written skills

  • Experience in banking/finance preferably with a leasing company
