About the role
Lendi Group is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer that will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that will be designing, developing, and deploying AI systems that drive agentic AI Automation within the property buying and owning, mortgage broking and financial services sector. You will work at the intersection of AI, data, software engineering, and financial services, building cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experiences.
You will be reporting to a newly formed team within Lendi Group that is focused on AI driven initiatives, working side-by-side with a high performing, knowledgeable and fun team.
This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on our long-term vision to expand our AI capability across the enterprise. We are open to this being a full-time permanent position or a fixed-term contract arrangement. Due to the nature of the project, the incumbent will be required to work from our Sydney-based Head Office alongside the broader project team for four to five days per week.
Job Description
- Help build an aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly interface, specifically designed to empower borrowers.
- Engage in a partnership with our Product/UX team
- Take charge of major segments of our system, demonstrating your expertise in both design and delivery. Your role will be pivotal in providing stable, high-quality solutions that stand the test of time.
- As an integral member of our AI Disrupt engineering team, your role involves building robust and scalable software. Your work will lay the foundation for a resilient and evolving technological framework.
- Your commitment to writing clean, maintainable code is crucial. We prioritise practices that support continuous integration and deployment, adhering to the highest standards and guidelines in software development.
- Play a leading role in driving the engineering team's rhythm and processes, from planning and resource allocation to design, coding, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Embrace full ownership of the code you and your team develop. This includes being proactive in debugging, monitoring, and ensuring the utmost reliability in our production environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (we use React.).
- Solid knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Koa).
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Vendor Assessment
- Proven experience in working with third-party APIs and services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills with a team-oriented attitude.
