A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Functional Designer reporting to Domain Owner – Field Control Tower & Prof. Services Digital Excellence.
A bit about your role
The Senior Functional Designer supports the end-to-end development of digital solutions aligned to domain priorities. The provides experience-led functional design assurance for field channels and internal tools, ensuring solutions are complete, consistent and fit for operational use.
Working closely with domain and delivery stakeholders, the role clarifies functional intent, defines workflows, rules and interactions (including Power Apps and AI-enabled experiences), and supports delivery teams through design, build, test and release. It focuses on translating agreed designs into clear, implementable requirements, maintaining design quality, and ensuring outcomes align with the intended user experience.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate has strong capability in functional design for digital products, with experience supporting delivery across discovery, build, test and release within Agile environments. You can review and validate end-to-end workflows, define business rules and controls, and translate functional designs into clear artefacts that support requirements, acceptance criteria and testing. You work effectively with product, design and engineering teams to align solutions to user needs and roadmap priorities, and are confident using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Figma to document and collaborate.
The role requires clear communication and facilitation skills to drive alignment across stakeholders, along with an understanding of integration, data and compliance requirements. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and designing AI-enabled interactions, including conversation flows and guardrails, is also valuable.
