How you’ll make an impact
As a Senior HR Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in turning PX and people-related data into actionable insights that support strategic workforce decisions and drive operational excellence. Working within the People Experience (HR) Insights team, you'll be helping to build a data warehouse and visualisations that deliver high-quality, data-driven insights that shape workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.You will lead end-to-end analytics work—from capturing business requirements and sourcing complex PX data, to analysis, visualization, and storytelling.
You will partner with our engineering team to help develop a security and integration model for a PX data warehouse. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and PX stakeholders to embed data into decision-making processes, improving the employee experience and organizational effectiveness. Your technical and analytical expertise will be key in developing scalable data solutions and guiding the business in using data responsibly and effectively.
What you’ll do
Analytics & Insights Delivery
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex PX data from systems such as Workday, or similar HRIS platforms.
- Partner with PX stakeholders to understand strategic goals, then translate these into analytics projects and insights.
- Design, develop, and deliver reports and dashboards that highlight workforce trends, employee lifecycle metrics, DEI outcomes, attrition risks, engagement, and more.
- Use storytelling and visualization techniques to present insights in a compelling and accessible way.
- Identify opportunities for automation, predictive modeling, and data pipelines to scale PX analytics capabilities.
- Design and implementation of data pipelines to ensure PX data is timely, accurate, and usable for reporting and modeling.
- Apply best practices for querying, cleaning, and combining data from multiple sources (e.g., HRIS, payroll, learning systems, survey tools).
- Use SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to build scalable analytics products.
- Support A/B testing and statistical modeling for PX interventions (e.g., learning programs, engagement initiatives).
- Act as a trusted advisor to PX business partners, providing insights that influence policies, program design, and strategic workforce decisions.
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business questions and define success metrics.
- Work with People Operations and IT to improve data quality and enhance data governance practices.
- Help shape a data-informed culture within the PX function by contributing to training, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with the wider analytics community to contribute to tools, frameworks, and standards across the business.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years’ experience in data analytics, with a focus on HR, people analytics, or workforce planning.
- Strong technical capability with tools such as Snowflake, BDT, SQL, Python, R, or similar for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience working and modeling HR data from systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Familiarity with digital data sources such as survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics), learning platforms, and engagement tools would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive clear insights from complex, messy, or incomplete datasets.
- High level of data literacy, and a passion for using data to improve employee experience and business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing across multiple levels of an organization.
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
