Your New Role

Central FP&A enables Fund leaders to make better decisions through clear financial narratives, disciplined forecasting and actionable insights.

As Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will drive strategic financial direction, deliver high-quality performance insight and lead a high-performing team to optimise member outcomes.

This role can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the Fund-wide FP&A agenda, delivering clear, decision-ready performance insights and recommendations to senior management and governance forums.

  • Lead end-to-end planning and forecasting processes, including multi-year planning and quarterly forecasts.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team of three, building capability in modelling, insight generation and storytelling.

  • Provide oversight of Fund-wide project financials, including performance, risks and trade-offs.

  • Deliver forward-looking financial insights to inform prioritisation and strategic decision-making.

  • Drive improvements in systems, data and processes, including automation and standardisation initiatives.

  • Partner with Finance Systems teams to uplift FP&A capability and ways of working.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA, FIAA or equivalent).

  • Significant and progressive experience in FP&A, finance partnering, financial modelling or related fields.

  • Strong analytical and modelling capability, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a complex environment.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.

  • Advanced Excel capability and working knowledge of financial systems (e.g. Oracle EPM).

  • Experience within superannuation or financial services (desirable).
