Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Growth to play a pivotal role in shaping the medium to long‑term commercial success of our Commercial Transport and Hotel portfolio.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Transport & Hotels, this senior commercial role with one direct report, is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth through innovation, strategic partnerships and new commercial initiatives. You will identify, develop and deliver growth opportunities across a complex, asset‑intensive and highly regulated environment, while optimising existing revenue streams.

This role is ideal for a commercially astute leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, data, partnerships and execution.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to

  • Drive delivery of 3-5 year growth strategies aligned to Sydney Airport’s Corporate Plan financial targets
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of major commercial growth initiatives across transport and hotels
  • Identify, develop and execute new revenue streams, partnerships and business models
  • Optimise and enhance existing revenue through innovation and performance improvement
  • Leverage data, market insight and customer trends to inform prioritisation and decision‑making
  • Monitor industry, transport and global airport trends to identify future risks and opportunities
  • Build strong cross‑functional alignment with internal teams including Aviation, Operations, Finance, Legal, Technology and Property
  • Establish and manage high‑value relationships with commercial partners, government bodies and regulators

About you

You are a senior commercial leader with a strong track record of delivering growth in complex environments. You combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and are comfortable influencing at executive level.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Strategy, Marketing or a related discipline (postgraduate desirable)
  • Significant senior experience driving revenue growth, strategy and new business initiatives
  • Proven success delivering medium to long‑term growth strategies with measurable financial outcomes
  • Strong experience building and managing strategic partnerships, including with government and regulators
  • Advanced commercial, financial and analytical capability
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience within transport, infrastructure, aviation, retail, hospitality or similarly regulated sectors (highly regarded)
