Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Growth to play a pivotal role in shaping the medium to long‑term commercial success of our Commercial Transport and Hotel portfolio.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Transport & Hotels, this is a senior commercial role responsible for driving growth across a complex, asset‑intensive and highly regulated environment.

You will play a key role in identifying, developing and delivering commercial initiatives that support long-term revenue growth, working across both new opportunities and optimisation of existing revenue streams. While contributing to strategic direction, your focus will be on translating priorities into tangible outcomes through strong cross-functional collaboration and execution.

This role is ideal for a commercially astute leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, data, partnerships and execution.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of 3–5 year growth strategies aligned to Sydney Airport’s Corporate Plan
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of key commercial growth initiatives — from concept through to execution and performance tracking
  • Identify, develop and progress new revenue streams, partnerships and business models
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure initiatives are commercially robust and operationally deliverable
  • Use data, market insight and customer trends to inform prioritisation and decision-making
  • Support the optimisation of existing revenue streams through targeted initiatives and innovation
  • Establish and manage relationships with key commercial partners and external stakeholders
  • Monitor industry, transport and global airport trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities

About you

You’re a commercially strong and motivated individual with experience contributing to and delivering growth initiatives in complex environments. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, and are comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders to bring ideas to life.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Strategy, Marketing or a related discipline (postgraduate desirable)
  • Solid experience in commercial, strategy, partnerships or growth-focused roles
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and deliver commercial initiatives with measurable financial outcomes
  • Strong analytical and financial capability, with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
  • Experience working with or managing commercial partnerships and stakeholder relationships
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience within transport, infrastructure, aviation, retail, hospitality or similarly complex environments (highly regarded)
