The Opportunity
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will lead the design and execution of industrial relations strategies that support CSL’s evolving workforce and business priorities. You’ll partner closely with executives, HR Business Partners, legal and operational leaders to drive constructive employee relations outcomes across enterprise bargaining, dispute resolution and organisational change.
From leading enterprise agreement negotiations to navigating complex IR matters, you’ll be at the centre of high‑impact decisions that shape our employee experience and industrial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end enterprise bargaining processes, acting as a subject matter expert and representative in negotiations and at external forums (including the Fair Work Commission)
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement industrial relations strategies aligned to business objectives
- Provide expert advice on dispute prevention and resolution, support organisational change initiatives, ensuring effective consultation with employees and unions
- Develop briefing materials, reports and recommendations on emerging IR risks and legislative changes
- Build IR capability across senior leaders through coaching, training and guidance
- Foster a progressive, collaborative IR culture across CSL’s APAC operations
About You
You are an experienced IR professional who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and brings both strategic thinking and hands‑on expertise.
You will bring:
- 5-7+ years’ experience in industrial relations, ideally within large, matrixed or global organisations
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and unionised environments
- Proven experience leading end to end enterprise bargaining and managing industrial disputes
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments (highly regarded)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (postgraduate study desirable)
