Write your story with a career at Zip

Join Zip’s Commercial Strategy & Growth team and play a key role in strengthening how our Customer & Revenue function understands performance, identifies opportunities and turns insight into action.

As Senior Manager, Insights & Performance, you’ll own the commercial intelligence and performance capability across Customer & Revenue. You’ll establish clear performance frameworks and connect customer, commercial and operational insights to give leaders a consolidated view of what’s happening, why it matters and where to focus next.

This is a high impact individual contributor role for someone who enjoys getting to the heart of complex commercial questions. Working closely with Customer & Revenue leadership and senior stakeholders across Commercial, Data, Marketing, Product and Finance, you’ll bring independent thinking, constructive challenge and decision ready insight to some of our most important priorities.

What you’ll own

  • Own and evolve the Customer & Revenue performance framework, creating consistent KPIs and performance views that connect strategic priorities to commercial outcomes.
  • Lead the performance management cadence across Customer & Revenue, bringing together insights across portfolios and growth initiatives to surface the issues and opportunities that need leadership attention.
  • Shape commercial decisions through strategic modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis and opportunity assessment, providing clear recommendations on priorities, investment and trade offs.
  • Dig beneath material performance trends, emerging risks and growth opportunities to understand the underlying drivers and recommend practical action.
  • Develop compelling executive level performance narratives and decision materials for business reviews, planning and senior leadership forums.
  • Define clear measurement approaches for strategic initiatives, merchant growth, partnerships and customer engagement programs so their commercial impact can be understood.
  • Partner with Data, Finance and business teams to strengthen the quality, consistency and accessibility of commercial performance information and create trusted sources of insight.
  • Connect insights across Customer & Revenue, identifying dependencies, opportunities and trade offs that may not be visible within individual portfolios.
  • Bring evidence and commercial judgement to challenge assumptions, forecasts and proposed initiatives, improving prioritisation and decision quality.
  • Build greater performance discipline into planning and decision making, helping teams focus on actionable insights and the outcomes that matter most.

What you’ll bring to the team

Zipsters work on a broad range of initiatives, and our skills and experiences all look a little different. What really matters to us is that you’re a great fit with our four Values, and have a desire to learn and grow.

So whether you meet some or all of the desirable attributes below, we’d still love to hear from you:

  • Deep experience across commercial insights, analytics, strategy, performance management, finance, consulting or a related discipline, with a track record of influencing complex commercial decisions.
  • Advanced analytical and commercial capability, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate multiple drivers and turn analysis into clear recommendations.
  • Experience designing performance frameworks, KPIs and management reporting that connect strategic priorities with measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of how customer behaviour, growth, revenue and investment interact to drive business performance.
  • Experience developing sophisticated models, forecasts, scenarios and opportunity assessments that support strategic planning and prioritisation.
  • The confidence and judgement to influence senior stakeholders and constructively challenge assumptions, including when priorities or perspectives differ.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear executive narratives and decision ready recommendations.
  • The autonomy and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple functions, establish strong ways of working and deliver outcomes without relying on formal authority.
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks. Whether you are a People Manager or an Individual Contributor, we are all leaders at Zip, therefore effective risk management is important to how we run our business and part of all our roles.
