About the role

As Senior Manager, Marketing Effectiveness & Analytics, you will play a key role in measuring the impact of marketing and shaping how we invest, optimize, and grow - connecting marketing performance, customer behaviour MMM, incrementality testing, attribution, and data activation into clear commercial recommendations.

Reporting to the Director, Customer Growth & Loyalty, this role sits at the intersection of marketing, customer strategy, finance, data, and commercial decision-making. You’ll help translate insights on acquisition, retention, engagement, and customer value into smarter investment decisions across performance and brand marketing. Join us on a 12-month max term contract and play a key role in shaping smarter, data-led marketing decisions across the business.

  • Lead THE ICONIC’s marketing effectiveness and analytics agenda, shaping smarter investment decisions across performance, brand and customer growth.
  • Own customer behaviour and cohort analytics across acquisition, retention, loyalty, repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
  • Translate marketing mix modelling, incrementality testing, attribution and customer insights into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Optimise marketing spend and budget planning to improve ROI, acquisition efficiency and overall business return.
  • Build and maintain measurement frameworks, KPI definitions, dashboards and reporting principles to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, CRM, Finance, Loyalty and Data teams to improve data quality, reporting and insight-led decisions.
  • Drive data activation and personalisation opportunities using customer and marketing data.
  • Articulate the commercial impact of brand marketing by connecting upper-funnel activity to downstream business outcomes.
  • Lead key analytics and measurement partner relationships, ensuring external capability aligns to business priorities.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing marketing effectiveness and analytics capability

What Success Looks like:

  • Proven track record in marketing effectiveness, analytics or commercial insights, with demonstrated impact on ROI, revenue, acquisition, retention and customer value
  • Strong commercial thinker who can translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for Marketing, Finance, Customer and Executive teams
  • Deep understanding of marketing measurement frameworks, including MMM, incrementality testing, attribution, cohort analysis and customer lifetime value
  • Systems thinker who can connect brand, performance, CRM, loyalty and customer data into one integrated view of marketing effectiveness
  • Equal parts analytical and influential: you love the data, but know how to tell the story behind the numbers
  • Confident stakeholder leader who can partner with senior leaders across Marketing, Finance, Data and Commercial to guide smarter investment decisions
  • Experienced operator who can build scalable reporting, dashboards, KPI frameworks and measurement processes that improve decision-making
  • Commercially minded budget partner who can help optimise marketing spend and identify where investment is driving the greatest return
  • Strong customer analytics capability, with experience understanding acquisition, retention, repeat purchase, loyalty and lifetime value behaviours
  • Comfortable managing external analytics, media or measurement partners to ensure insights are clear, credible and commercially useful
  • Passionate about building a culture of evidence-based marketing, where insight, testing and performance drive better outcomes
  • Proven ability to coach, lead or influence teams to lift analytical capability and embed smarter ways of working across the business
