The Senior Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) supports the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) in building the local face of Red Bull across Western Sydney, in line with national and global priorities. The role brings the brand to life across Student Marketing, Sports and Culture by activating relevant local moments and building strong networks of opinion leaders and influencers both online and offline. The FMS role is dynamic and active, as they are consistently engaged 'in the field' rather than confined to an office environment.

Job Description

LOCAL STRATEGY & BRAND DIRECTION

  • Collaborate closely with the FMM to implement the field strategy and develop initiatives aimed at enhancing brand health and deepening local understanding of product functionality and relevance. 
  • Execute marketing programs with precision and local flavour, leveraging best practices that align with local requirements to achieve impactful outcomes. 
  • Drive consumer trial through activities in line with brand values, international guidelines and expectations to win consumers. 
  • Drive relevance across key consumption occasions and moments of need by crafting targeted messaging, amplifying campaign efforts, and strategically activating impactful regional events. 
  • Proactively identify and develop new ways to engage and excite consumers with the Event Vehicle.

 

STUDENT MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

  • Set clear expectations for Student Marketeers (SM's) to bring Red Bull to key local moments, and ensure a strong university sales support program that drives company objectives.
  • Communicate clear expectations and guidelines to SMs to achieve targets successfully in driving trial and coach and empower SM's in the planning process for a constant flow of fresh mission ideas.
  • Use program tools and reports to track performance, identify targeting opportunities and gather key insights (e.g., consumer perceptions) to continuously improve the program.

 

EVENT VEHICLE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

  • Effectively manage the Western Sydney Event Vehicle (EV) Program and Driver, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Within the state Sales & Marketing plan, unlock new EV opportunities across networks, events, and scenes to excite priority audiences in our key playgrounds.

 

EVENT EXECUTION AND NETWORKING

  • Lead the delivery of national and regional Sports, Culture, and Brand programs in Western Sydney, balancing owned activations with select third-party events and partnerships.
  • Deliver premium execution across all programs through strong logistics, effective resource planning, and smart management of tools and field assets (e.g., Minis, infrastructure).
  • Lead and coach your team with an empowering approach, encouraging ownership of targets that impact the business and creating development opportunities for top performers.
  • Create and manage network relationships within the region who are key community influences and who are pivotal to delivering events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years full-time experience within events, community management, or commercial marketing (working within the Western Sydney community)
  • Experience leading or managing teams is advantageous
  • Familiarity with the university landscape in Australia
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle
