    Job Description

    At TAL, our Group Life & Retirement team partners with some of Australia’s leading superannuation funds to help make life insurance more accessible, affordable and meaningful for millions of Australians. In this role, you’ll be part of a relationship-focused team that strengthens trusted partnerships and supports better outcomes for super fund members and their families. By helping our partners achieve their insurance goals, you’ll contribute to TAL’s broader purpose of protecting Australians and being there when they need us most. This is a meaningful opportunity to help shape experiences that matter, build enduring partnerships, and play a part in supporting people through some of life’s most important moments. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne office.

    In this role you will:

    • Develop strategic partnership plans that align commercial priorities and long-term growth opportunities.
    • Strengthen partner relationships to deliver shared outcomes and deepen engagement across the partnership.
    • Drive strategic initiatives that grow the partnership and improve member value.
    • Lead commercial discussions to achieve sustainable outcomes and support joint business objectives.
    • Ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and resolves issues that impact partner experience.
    • Influence product, proposition and digital solutions that respond to partner and industry needs.

    Qualifications

    • At least five years’ experience in superannuation, with strong knowledge of group life insurance.
    • Proven experience building trusted relationships and work collaboratively with partners, clients and internal teams.
    • ability to communicate clearly and confidently, including presenting ideas and recommendations to different audiences.
    • Use analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and support effective decisions.
    • Bring experience delivering initiatives or implementing solutions that improve outcomes for customers or partners.
    • Use commercial judgement and an understanding of group insurance pricing and products to support sustainable outcomes.
