Job Description

Our People & Culture Advisors are trusted partners who help bring Cuscal’s people strategy to life. Supporting the Business Partnering team and leaders across the organisation, this role provides guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, policy development, people processes and P&C operations. You'll play an important role in delivering key people initiatives, supporting business outcomes, and helping create an exceptional experience for our people. 

Advice & Employee Relations 

  • Providing guidance and advice to employees in relation to P&C matters, including policy interpretation
  • Manage instances of employee relations including performance management, grievances, conduct matters, organisational restructures and investigations 
  • In partnership with Business Partners, manage workers compensation cases including external third parties.

Support the P&C Business Partners 

  • Assist in P&C projects and engagement activities 
  • Support annual activities such as performance and remuneration reviews 
  • Conduct and document onboarding & exit Interviews  
  • Manage reporting requirements 

P&C Programs 

  • Support the team with Remuneration and Payroll requirements and associated administration.
  • Support the delivery of the Cuscal Graduate program

Administration 

  • Review and approve employee documentation drafted by other P&C teams including; employment contracts, secondments, promotions and flexible working agreements. 
  • Assist in the development, updates and roll out of policies, procedures and P&C templates
  • Champion P&C business process improvements 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a People and Culture team managing employee relation matters  
  • A working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and the Banking, Finance, and Insurance Award 
  • Demonstrated ability in managing conflicting priorities and tasks to timely completion 
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement 
  • Experience in delivery of HR projects and initiatives end to end is a plus
