The role

At Prospa, we believe great businesses are built by great people, great leaders and high-performing teams. As a Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you'll partner closely with leaders to build capability, strengthen teams and drive performance across your portfolio.

This is a broad role that combines strategic partnering with hands-on execution. You'll help shape people priorities, influence decisions and turn ideas into action. You'll work with leaders who genuinely care about their people and value a trusted partner who can challenge thinking, build capability and help them make better decisions for their teams and the business.

No two days are the same. You'll work across leadership, performance, organisational design, workforce planning, engagement and change, helping leaders build high-performing teams that can grow and scale with the business.

If you enjoy building strong partnerships, taking ownership and making a meaningful impact, then this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with leaders to build high-performing teams and create an environment where people can do their best work.
  • Turn business priorities into people plans that drive performance, capability and growth.
  • Lead organisational design, workforce planning and team effectiveness initiatives.
  • Use people data and insights to inform decisions, challenge thinking and improve outcomes.
  • Strengthen leadership capability through coaching, support and practical tools that help leaders build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Drive our Performance & Growth approach, helping leaders set clear expectations, have meaningful conversations and create a culture of accountability and development.
  • Lead employee listening and engagement action planning, turning feedback into meaningful change.
  • Identify and develop talent, support succession planning and enable career growth.
  • Partner with leaders through change, transformation and evolving ways of working.
  • Navigate employee relations matters with sound judgement and practical advice.
  • Own key people programs including Workplace Health & Safety, employee benefits and our offshore workforce model.

What you'll bring

  • Experience partnering with leaders to drive people and business outcomes.
  • The ability to quickly build credibility, influence thinking and establish trusted relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect people decisions to business priorities.
  • Confidence supporting leaders through people challenges, navigating complexity and having honest conversations when it matters.
  • A proactive approach and strong sense of ownership - you're comfortable switching between solving immediate challenges and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes over the longer term.
  • Strong judgement, curiosity and the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
  • A data-informed approach to decision making and problem solving.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary people practices.

Experience in a technology, fintech or high-growth environment would be highly regarded.

Don’t let a confidence gap get in the way of submitting your application.
