Owns long-term architecture and technical evolution of distributed services, customer experiences, and experimentation platforms. Defines cross-team roadmaps, leads architectural initiatives and experimentation strategies, and ensures operational excellence across performance, reliability, observability, data safety, and security. - Guiding teams in Front End development to implement new Customer-facing experiments and instrument data collection
- Understand the user journey and purchase funnel for Product Led Sales, using data to guide decisions
Responsibilities
- Own the technical evolution and long-term architecture of the Growth Monetization services, customer experiences and experimentation platforms
- Collaborate across Product teams defining forward roadmaps for multiple teams driving customer success
- Maintain high standards of Operational Excellence in Growth Monetization platforms and services for performance, reliability, observability and data safety and security.
- Continually raise technical standards and success through hands-on leadership in reviews, investigations, incidents and critical Product problem solving, mentoring Principal and Senior Engineers
- Lead technical experimentation strategies across multiple teams driving product and engineering approaches
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in Full Stack development converting designs into performant and reliable customer experiences
- 12+ years of experience developing large scale distributed systems.
- 4+ years of experience providing architectural oversight and technical leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience at department-level: shaping technical direction across teams and influencing architecture and product strategy beyond a single service.
- Track record of leading major architectural initiatives and turning multi-year strategy into incremental delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Extensive experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems, data streaming platforms and event-driven architecture
- Broad knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and hands-on experience with public clouds (ideally AWS and/or GCP).
- Fluency in any modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Golang, Python, Javascript, go etc.) and in architecture patterns for distributed systems.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers, leading technical reviews, and improving engineering quality and productivity.
- Quick learner who excels in ambiguous environments.
