About this role

At Stake, Product Design is about far more than creating polished screens — it’s about shaping the future of how hundreds of thousands of people invest and gain financial autonomy. Our designers sit at the centre of product strategy, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations and Marketing to solve meaningful customer problems and create experiences that feel intuitive, seamless and genuinely rewarding. We care deeply about both craft and impact, combining research, experimentation and behavioural insights to design products customers love and trust.

The Senior Product Designer as part of the Stake Super squad will play a key role in shaping customer experiences for our digital products and services. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at solving complex design challenges, and is passionate about creating beautiful, intuitive experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Operations and Marketing, to design experiences that drive customer engagement and business growth.

Primary responsibilities
  • Lead the design of end-to-end experiences for mobile and web products, from initial concept through to final implementation and future iteration
  • Assist in conducting customer research, gather insights, and translate them into flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to define and prioritise opportunities to inform the roadmap, ensuring alignment on customer needs and business goals
  • Facilitate design workshops and reviews, and present design solutions to stakeholders for feedback, alignment and iteration
  • Designed incentive frameworks that encouraged repeat engagement and built customer trust, leveraging behavioral design principles
  • Apply design solutions in alignment with the company’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability across products
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and best practices to continually improve the design process and outcomes
  • Mentor and provide feedback to other designers across Product and Brand, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the design team
A bit about you
  • Experienced in solving complex design challenges and creating intuitive and engaging experiences for mobile and web platforms
  • Skilled in research, prototyping, and leveraging design systems for consistency
  • A strong collaborator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams to drive customer engagement and business growth
  • Passionate about human-centered design and staying up to date with industry trends
  • Fintech B2C experience is essential, with a solid understanding of designing consumer-facing digital products
  • Growth experience working with data, experimentation frameworks to test design decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and data teams to create and iterate on gamified experiences or reward mechanisms that align with customer motivations

At Stake, we’re more interested in your attitude than your resume. If you believe this is a role you want to jump into, please apply and let us know why in your cover letter!
