Culture Amp is looking for a Senior Product Designer to work on our core Engagement reporting product, making employee engagement and experience insights available to all of our customers. Join an innovative and creative team, building clever solutions for complex and diverse user needs.

As the Senior Product Designer for report sharing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our core engagement reports, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our customers, internal users, and stays at the forefront of innovation across the industry. You’ll need to work and think holistically, taking into account platform-wide considerations and affordances, while making targeted impact on localized user flows.

The ideal candidate is a creative, but pragmatic thinker, thoughtful about technical feasibility, customer value, and prioritization. You balance aesthetics with function, and understand how to use design to solve problems in the face of potential tradeoffs. You thrive in a collaborative environment where you will partner deeply with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure that your domain’s user experiences are intuitive, efficient, and appealing. Your ability to balance creativity with practicality will be essential, as you navigate the challenges of a complex backend while keeping the customer experience at the forefront.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading design end-to-end, from discovery through delivery and beyond
  • Improving and uplifting detailed, information-dense UIs, with a focus on usability and efficiency
  • Working closely with product management to ensure alignment
  • Collaborating with engineers to not only understand technical feasibility, but to leverage technical constraints into opportunities
  • Iterating on designs through design reviews and stakeholder sessions
  • Conducting customer research, usability testing, and desktop research to deeply understand customer needs and validate design decisions
  • Using data to analyze customer feedback, usage, and other in-product behaviors

You have

  • Deep understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and working with design systems
  • An obsession with inclusive design practices, accessibility and design standards
  • High proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
  • Experience conducting user research & testing activities (e.g. customer interviews, usability testing, remote testing)
  • Successful delivery of end-to-end product design on projects from ideation to production.
  • A passion for storytelling to take others on the journey
