Write your story with a career at Zip

Join Zip’s Product team and help shape experiences that make it easier for customers to shop with confidence and for merchants to grow.

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll take ownership of strategically important product opportunities that contribute to Zip’s customer and commercial growth. Your initial focus will be Agentic Commerce and Tokenisation, shaping how Zip becomes discoverable, selectable and usable as a payment option across emerging AI led shopping experiences.

This is a senior individual contributor opportunity in a fast moving space where many of the answers are still being discovered. You’ll combine strategic product thinking with a test and learn mindset, validating the biggest assumptions early and turning the strongest opportunities into secure, customer ready experiences.

As Zip’s strategy and customer needs evolve, you’ll also have the opportunity to apply your product leadership across other high impact areas of our portfolio.

What you’ll own

  • Set and evolve the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Agentic Commerce and Tokenisation, balancing customer needs, commercial outcomes, technology readiness and risk appetite.
  • Shape how customers can discover and select Zip across AI assistants, agents and emerging commerce experiences.
  • Build a clear test and learn portfolio, identifying the assumptions that matter most, testing them efficiently and using evidence to determine where we invest.
  • Partner with merchants to explore and shape how Zip can be presented as a payment option across new agentic commerce experiences.
  • Work with Engineering and Architecture to shape the protocols, payment credentials and tokenisation capabilities required to enable secure agent initiated payments.
  • Build productive partnerships with payment service providers, platforms and networks that can help bring Zip to priority commerce surfaces.
  • Bring Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Fraud, Compliance and Payments together around shared outcomes, creating experiences that balance innovation with reliability, security and regulatory obligations.
  • Define meaningful OKRs and success measures, using data and validated learning to communicate progress, influence priorities and connect your work to Zip’s commercial outcomes.
  • Turn validated opportunities into customer ready capabilities, iterating as you learn and helping Zip build the foundations for growth through emerging commerce channels.

What you’ll bring to the team

Zipsters work on a broad range of initiatives, and our skills and experiences all look a little different. What really matters to us is that you’re a great fit with our four Values, and have a desire to learn and grow.

So whether you meet some or all of the desirable attributes below, we’d still love to hear from you:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within payments, cards, payment service providers, banking or fintech.
  • Experience owning complex customer facing products from strategy and discovery through to delivery, iteration and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, with confidence using data to shape strategy, prioritisation and stakeholder decisions.
  • A track record of working effectively in ambiguous and emerging problem spaces, framing assumptions and testing ideas when the outcome is not yet known.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership, with the ability to bring technical, design, data, risk and commercial partners together around shared outcomes.
  • Exposure to agentic commerce, AI led shopping or AI enabled and automated product experiences would be highly regarded.
  • Experience building external partnerships or integrating third party payment capabilities would be valuable.
  • Familiarity with tokenisation, payment credentials or emerging payment protocols and standards would be an advantage.
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks. Whether you are a People Manager or an Individual Contributor, we are all leaders at Zip, therefore effective risk management is important to how we run our business and part of all our roles.
  • Our values in your DNA. Customer First, Own It, Stronger Together and Change the Game.
