About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager – Data to join our product team and act as the connective tissue between data engineering, analytics, product, and business teams.

This is a technical and strategic role. You’ll support managing the data product roadmap, act as the go-to contact for data requirements, and data governance best practices across the business. You’ll also relieve our data engineering team of operational overhead, helping them focus on building scalable infrastructure, data pipelines and solutions.

Your job is to ensure data is accessible, governed, and most importantly, useful.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, capture, and prioritise data engineering requirements across different business units.
  • Work with internal and external teams (e.g., Salesforce, CRM, marketing) to integrate and model external data sources.
  • Identify technical limitations, data cohesion in our current data setup and define scalable solutions.
  • Act as the SME for all things data within product.
  • Set up and champion self-service tools and training for product managers and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor the broader product organisation in data literacy and tooling.
  • Support the data product roadmap and manage delivery timelines in partnership with data engineering.
  • Maintain and manage the data engineering backlog (Jira).
  • Coordinate cross functional dependencies and align business and technical priorities.
  • Translate business needs into actionable technical specs and workflows.
  • Support the identification and delivery of future ML & AI product opportunities.
  • Support compliance with regulations (GDPR, data retention, security policies).
  • Maintain documentation for data schemas, flows, and logic to ensure traceability and future-proofing.
  • Monitor and enforce policies to ensure the right data is used by the right people, for the right purposes.
  • Explore and analyse data using SQL, APIs, and catalog tools to identify opportunities and unblock teams, specifically the product team.
  • Deliver proactive insights and trends to product and leadership based on observed data patterns.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in product management, data product ownership, or technical program management.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with APIs, data catalogs, and modern data platforms.
  • Experience with tools like dbt, Redshift, Snowflake, Iceberg, Airflow, S3, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles (e.g., GDPR, PII handling).
  • Proven ability to work across engineering, analytics, product, and compliance teams.
  • Experience managing delivery workflows using Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-product company with a modern data stack.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML use cases and the data prerequisites for deploying models.
  • Background working in regulated environments (e.g., gaming, finance, healthcare).
Some of the perks of joining us:
  • Lead impactful large-scale data as a product initiatives across global scale software products.
  • Unique exposure to datasets that handle over 500 million records a day and over 10 MB per second real time data input
