Job Description

  • An exciting Senior Product role within the Qantas Loyalty Financial Services Tribe 
  • Define the product roadmap for digital products in conjunction with the Loyalty Leadership team
  • Permanent full-time role based at Mascot Head Office

As the Senior Product Manager Financial Services, you will have a broad and complex set of responsibilities across your diversified product portfolio. As the leading Product Manager for Qantas Pay, you will have deep domain knowledge of the business vertical in which the Tribe operates, and you are accountable for discovering new propositions, and driving growth to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will lead a team of Product Managers and Business Analysts, manage the product portfolio, be the subject matter expert for innovation and product practices, identify and form new strategic partnerships as well as on-going transformation of organisational and people capabilities in your team.

This role requires deep subject matter expertise and exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills. Key to the success of this role is to form strong relationships within and outside the Qantas group.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of senior product leadership experience in large, complex matrix organisation with at least 3 years as the top-level owner of a distinct product or product line
  • Experience in everyday banking products or financial services
  • Experience in the delivery of large scale and complex transformation and change programs across multiple business units
  • Experience in driving results in a fast-paced and continually changing environment
  • Experience leading medium to large multi-disciplinary teams, building a team oriented, collaborative, agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, contribute and create effective teamwork across traditional organisational boundaries as well as lean agile organisations
  • Post graduate qualifications in business highly advantageous (e.g MBA) or Tertiary qualifications in technology, business or a related discipline
  • Significant leadership experience and domain knowledge
  • Strategy development and execution
  • Deep knowledge in customer and product discovery, implementation and measurement processes
  • Business cases development and product portfolio performance management
  • Senior executive level stakeholder management skills with ability to influence/negotiate positive outcomes
