Working across Lending, Strategic and Lending Partnerships, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance and Operations, the role ensures each new product or capability is commercially sound, operationally viable and ready to run. Success is measured by disciplined delivery, accepted Build-to-Run handover and strong early-life product performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the definition of the product construct, proposition, eligibility, features, pricing inputs, documentation and customer and broker experience.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery across systems, integrations, data, reporting, controls, training, testing, operational readiness, launch decisioning and go-live.
  • Lead the handover of each new capability into the Run team, including the handover plan, operating procedures, control evidence, service measures, training, ownership acceptance and post-launch performance loop.
  • Lead the Build roadmap for Aussie Lending products, including future enhancements, new products and new white-label opportunities.
  • Support the Head of Lending and Head of Strategic & Lending Partnerships with commercial negotiations for Aussie Lending products, including pricing options, partner economics and feasibility cases.
  • Lead the operational setup of new Aussie Lending products, ensuring the activities, roles, hand-offs, procedures, controls, reporting, governance, training, servicing and escalation pathways required to run them are in place.
  • Lead new lender and partner setup, including the operating model, delegated authorities, SLAs, KPIs, reporting, audit rights, incident pathways and change control.
  • Lead the setup of third-party agreements and integrations for services such as lenders mortgage insurance, valuations and identity platforms.
  • Lead end-to-end testing, operational readiness, launch decisioning, go-live and early-life performance management for Forward Flow.
  • Secure formal acceptance from the Run owners before any new capability is considered complete.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in product management, including ownership of complex products or capabilities from discovery and strategy through delivery, launch and optimisation.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at Senior Product Manager level, with accountability for product strategy, roadmap prioritisation, delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong experience in lending, mortgages or financial services; experience with lender products, white-label arrangements or forward-flow structures is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to define product propositions, eligibility, features, pricing inputs, documentation and end-to-end customer or broker experiences.
  • Experience establishing operationally viable products, including operating models, procedures, controls, reporting, governance, training, servicing and escalation pathways.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery across Product, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations and frontline stakeholders.
  • Experience leading third-party, lender or strategic partner setup, including commercial negotiations, agreements, integrations, delegated authorities, SLAs, KPIs and governance.
  • Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to develop feasibility cases, assess partner economics and support pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Strong technical and data fluency, with the ability to shape system integrations, data requirements, reporting, controls and implementation trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end testing, operational readiness, launch decisioning, go-live and early-life performance management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to align senior leaders and secure clear ownership acceptance.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and fast-moving environments, with a disciplined approach to risk, prioritisation, handover and continuous product improvement.
