We’re looking for a Senior Programming Lead to drive operational excellence across eBay Live’s event production ecosystem. You’ll build and scale the systems that power our live programming — managing process, launch readiness, and alignment across Category, Marketing, Product, and Live Ops.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role for a strategic operator who loves creative environments. You’ll work closely with producers, Marketing, and Category Managers to ensure every live event is planned, resourced, and executed seamlessly.
What you will accomplish:
Reporting to the Country Manager of eBay Live, supporting the development and execution of Live programming and production. You will manage Producers to lead end to end production of eBay Live shopping events.
Own end-to-end program management for live events, seasonal campaigns, and tentpoles.
Build and maintain programming calendars, readiness trackers, and process documentation.
Work with your producers and Category Leads to coordinate creative, technical, and operational deliverables.
Manage launch readiness for Live events — ensuring all dependencies are tracked and risk-mitigated.
Lead cross-functional syncs with Marketing, Live Ops, and Product to align timelines and scope.
Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements across programming systems.
Report event health, risks, and post-mortem insights to leadership.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
8+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally in media, live production, or e-commerce.
Proven success coordinating complex, cross-functional projects with tight deadlines.
Strong communicator who can align creative and technical teams.
Analytical and process-oriented, with experience using dashboards and tracking tools.
Passionate about live entertainment, creators, and innovative digital experiences.
If you're passionate about eCommerce and want to be part of the category strategy for eBay Live Australia, this is the role for you. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and an opportunity to work with a talented and dynamic team.
