As part of Consumer Finance, a function for the Retail Bank, we are responsible to work based on the Quality assurance framework that adheres to Remediation principles and necessary regulatory standards.

Here, we drive enhancements to business practices and processes by sustaining a focus on controls and customer advocacy to deliver better outcomes for our customers, shareholders and the community.

In this role

You will be working in the Quality Assurance Team & support one of 3 critical areas within RBA Remediation. You will be responsible for assurance activities including data testing, quality control of data files and reporting issues.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing test requirements, creating and documenting test cases effectively including using Microsoft Excel whilst providing feedback on test results

  • Performing defect tracking – recording and following-up to resolution

  • Provide daily project status reports and participate in project meeting, where required

  • Constantly communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding Remediation

  • Constantly thinking outside the box for testing business requirements

  • Identifying and escalating issues whilst meeting deadlines and achieving SLA’s

  • Completing administration tasks and maintaining project related trackers in line with the Standard Operating Procedures and supporting the effective delivery of our remediation projects

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge base in Quality Assurance space with a working knowledge of the Retail Bank

  • Hands on Data testing experience will be desirable

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment

  • Basic understanding of the Banking products will be desirable

  • Good presentation skills to a large audience

  • Are knowledgeable in test documents such as but not limited to Test Cases, Test Data, Test Evidence in document repository

  • Pride themselves on their strong time management skills meeting deadlines and SLA’s

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Adaptable to new methodologies, tools and framework

  • Good experience and exposure to JIRA as a Bug tracking tool
