This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to support the Customer & Brand team in executing Line 1 Risk management activities. 

Job Description

Join TAL in a role that puts you at the heart of strengthening our risk culture. As a Senior Risk Analyst in our Customer & Brand team, you’ll support the Business Manager in delivering key Line 1 risk activities, including risk assessments, incident management and reporting. You'll help drive compliance with the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) and champion a strong, proactive approach to risk across the business. 

In This Role You Will:  

  • Deliver the annual Controls Assessment Plan and lead the Risk & Controls Self‑Assessment for Customer & Brand

  • Prepare risk reporting for the Leadership Team, Executive Team, and Board.

  • Support implementation of FAR requirements across the business unit.

  • Lead CPS230 uplift and ensure compliance with key risk policies (Data, Records, Third‑Party Risk).

  • Oversee business resilience activities and support the management of incidents, breaches, issues, and actions.

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant Academic Qualifications: A university degree in a related field. 

  • 3+ years in a relevant Risk Management and/or Compliance role, preferably within the financial services or life insurance industry. 

  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative. 

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes. 

  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience in engaging with senior stakeholders.  

  • Strong ability to build long lasting working relationships.
