Job DescriptionThis role supports and strengthens TAL’s Business Resilience capability by contributing to the delivery of Business Continuity and Crisis Management activities, enhancing incident management across the organisation, and coordinating support during continuity, crisis, and physical security events. It also helps to uplift the Business Continuity and Crisis Management Framework by identifying relevant disruption scenarios, supporting business units to develop practical recovery strategies, and acting as a key liaison to ensure timely information sharing and effective stakeholder relationships.
In This Role You Will
Support key business stakeholders to uplift and maintain continuity documentation in line with CPS230 requirements
Facilitate reviews of process inventories, identify critical operations and processes, and support dependency mapping and tolerance setting
Contribute to Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plan workshops by providing constructive review and challenge
Help develop and refine severe but plausible disruption scenarios to inform effective recovery and workaround strategies
Support the design and delivery of continuity and crisis exercises, ensuring actions and outcomes are clearly documented
Act as a Business Continuity and Crisis Management liaison, enabling effective information sharing and strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Partner with Technology and Business teams to support and enhance the Business Disruption Assessment and Third Party Continuity Assurance Program
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage, influence and challenge stakeholders
Sound understanding of APRA’s role and CPS 230 requirements, including the Prudential Practice Guide, with a focus on Critical Operations, tolerance settings and Business Continuity expectations
Demonstrated ability to review and challenge impact tolerance levels and partner with the business to develop practical, fit-for-purpose solutions considering interdependencies
Well-developed business analysis capability, including documenting and maintaining process maps and identifying dependencies across people, processes, systems and third parties
Solid knowledge of Business Continuity and Resilience Management frameworks, internal control frameworks, and their alignment with IT Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery practices
