About the role and team

Working at Uber means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. In this role, you will bridge digital and real worlds, powering movement and shaping communities through scalable analytical products and operational excellence. You will be part of a team that creates an environment where excellence is the norm and where we move fast and stay resilient to adapt to constant change.

This role is not about following a polished playbook; it is about navigating ambiguity and making smart decisions with imperfect information. You will need to take ownership, stay adaptable, and build with both urgency and care. If you are energized by the messy reality of doing big things and motivated by real-world impact, this is where you will grow.

What you’ll do

  • Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities to unlock value for internal stakeholders and the millions of people who rely on the Uber platform every day.
  • Collaborate across disciplines—including Product, Legal, S&P, Community Operations, and Policy—to advocate for scalable solutions and influence product roadmaps by translating operational insights into business impact.
  • Analyze data to understand business trends, identify opportunities, and assess the impact of operational changes while translating customer empathy into effective product solutions.
  • Build and maintain operational and critical analytical products that help monitor and diagnose complex metrics for diverse teams across global markets.
  • Drive project delivery by independently managing and executing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment where you must track the details even when things get messy.
  • Identify patterns and escalate issues that impact experience at scale, contributing to how support and operations improve over time.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience in operations, analytics, or program management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering growth, driving complex initiatives across multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with hands-on experience in SQL and data interpretation. Experience with modern programming languages such as Python or R.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work well in ambiguity and solve complex, multifaceted problems.
  • Strong systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills to navigate tension and influence without authority.
  • Experience in the tech or mobility industry with a focus on product analytics or business operations.
  • A self-starter who thrives in an environment of responsibility and independence, making smart judgments in spite of ambiguity.
