The Purpose: 

As the Senior Risk Reporting Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping AP+ understand, monitor and manage risk across the organisation. Working within the Group Risk team, you'll develop meaningful reporting, dashboards and insights that provide a clear view of our risk profile, enabling informed decision-making across the business. 

You'll combine strong analytical capability with an eye for continuous improvement, ensuring our reporting processes, data quality and enterprise risk systems remain effective, reliable and fit for purpose. Partnering with stakeholders across AP+, you'll help transform complex risk information into practical insights that strengthen governance, support strategic objectives and contribute to a strong risk culture. 

This is an 8 month fixed term contract position.

The core accountabilities of the role will include: 

  • Develop and maintain risk reports, dashboards and metrics that provide timely, accurate and meaningful insights into AP+'s risk profile.  
  • Act as the subject matter expert for AP+'s enterprise risk reporting tool, driving ongoing enhancements, system improvements and data quality initiatives.  
  • Analyse risk data to identify emerging trends, control effectiveness and areas requiring management attention.  
  • Produce high-quality reporting and insights that support executive decision-making and organisational governance.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk and the wider business to ensure reporting meets organisational and regulatory requirements.  
  • Continuously review and improve reporting processes, tools and methodologies to increase efficiency, accuracy and value.  
  • Support the maintenance of robust risk information, records and reporting standards across the organisation.  
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reporting capability and data-driven decision-making.  

The capabilities needed to be successful for this role are: 

We're looking for a data analytics professional with risk knowledge, who enjoys turning risk data into meaningful insights and driving continuous improvement. You'll bring: 

  • Experience developing and delivering risk reporting, dashboards and management information within a risk, governance or compliance environment.  
  • Passion for continuous improvement and new technologies (including AI) to improve reporting processes, tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and communicate actionable insights.  
  • Experience working with enterprise risk management systems or governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platforms, including supporting ongoing system enhancements and data quality.  
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality reporting and maintaining data integrity.  
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively across teams to support sound risk management and informed decision-making.  
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
