Our New Homes Sales team partners with property developers, builders, project marketers and media agencies to promote new projects through REA’s market-leading digital products and platforms. Working collaboratively across sales, product, marketing and customer teams, we put customer needs at the heart of everything we do—creating solutions that deliver value for property businesses and connect consumers with their future homes.

What the role is all about 

The Senior Sales Manager role supports the New Homes Sales team in the following ways:

  • Lead a team of Account Partners, Senior Account Partners & Account Directors focused on New Homes customers
  • Grow and maintain key customer relationships in Portfolio and State
  • Work closely with Leadership team to provide consistency across Geographical and Segment markets and share best practice
  • Work collaboratively with other areas of the business (including Customer Product, Marketing and Excellence groups) to identify and understand additional growth opportunities
  • Develop and implement relevant strategies that will achieve financial targets, increase customer satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Strong collaboration with all New Homes sales leaders to ensure strategies are aligned and rolled out consistently across the national sales team
  • Partner with our largest customers, to ensure they are engaged and on-board with REA and manage sponsorship and customer events for the Segment and State.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the REA products and services the sales team is responsible for
  • Create an engaged and successful team, through planning and coordinating state-wide sales activities including sales kick offs, quarterly training days
  • Recruit, train and motivate the sales team and coach, mentor and supervise direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform in their role whilst recognizing their potential
  • Model and promote REA company values and encourage teamwork through multi-business and key stakeholder collaboration
  • Ensure team members are compliant with company policies and procedures and adhere to the REA values
  • Provide second in command level support to the National Sales Director, New Homes including but not limited to representing New Homes sales in x-functional working groups and leading strategic initiatives.

Who we’re looking for 

  • Strong leader who can become the face of REA
  • Demonstrated focus on building a successful team, and a thriving culture - prior leadership experience of large teams, in a corporate sales environment
  • Independent thinker who can self solve and challenge the status quo when necessary
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, market analysis, business planning and implementing systems and processes
  • Advertising and online experience highly desirable
  • Experience supporting teams through change in a successful manner
  • Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one!)
