Responsibilities
- Involved with all aspects of software development, such as design, implementation, and maintenance, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure and maintainable service for our customers by building cutting-edge cloud and edge technologies
- Partner closely with product managers, product owners, software architects and other stakeholders to iteratively turn high-level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementally and continually
- Contribute to improvements in processes and technical methodologies that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needs
- Contribute to technical product roadmaps, particularly for the frontend team
- Implement performant, scalable and forward-thinking solutions on time
- Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to team members and stakeholders, which includes writing, reading, and reviewing code and designs, and participating in the various technical feedback loops happening within the organization
- On Call support as part of a rostered escalation process
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or MS in computer science, related technology field, or equivalent experience
- You have 7 years of hands-on experience with applications, containerised microservices and high traffic customer-facing enterprise solutions
- Experience with JavaScript in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with web frameworks, such as AngularJS and ReactJS
- Experience with configuration of nginx or similar web-servers, such as for request routing and rewrites
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps
- Experience with GIT or equivalent version control system, and source code management
- Experience with CI/CD and building Deployment Pipelines using tolls like Jenkins
- Experience with GIT or equivalent version control system, and source code management
- Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban
Preferred Qualifications
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
- Experience with micro frontends
- Experience with incremental approaches to performing frontend upgrades
- Experience with integration-Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) offerings
- Experience with docker and exposure to kubernetes
