Constantinople delivers a new era of AI-native banking. Constantinople provides banks with a fully-managed software and AI operational platform, which brings together customer experience, product, data, operations, compliance and infrastructure in a single platform.
Constantinople’s AI-native platform eliminates the need for expensive infrastructure, and replaces manual operational and compliance processes with AI at scale. By removing the operational complexity of banking, Constantinople enables our client banks to focus on their customers and the business of banking.
The Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer at Constantinople, you will be a valuable technical leader, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex software solutions that form the engineering platform to improve our engineers' capability of delivering our banking platform.
You will work with teams across the company to integrate industry standards and best practices using CI/CD and SRE tooling to provide testability, reliability, scalability, and security.
What You’ll Do
- Work with the platform team to define and evolve a clear, well-supported path for software development across the company.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve productivity and delivery quality through shared patterns, reusable frameworks, and modern platform capabilities.
- Design and build foundational platform components, including database access layers, internal service frameworks, asynchronous workflow capabilities, and event-driven architecture patterns (Kafka).
- Contribute to the evolution of company-wide engineering standards for infrastructure, testing, CI/CD, observability, resource management, and operational readiness.
- Facilitate the evaluation, integration, and rationalisation of vendor services, including developer productivity tooling, infrastructure services, and third-party platforms.
- Advocate for code quality, pragmatic architecture, and a culture of continuous improvement across engineering.
Who You Are
- You are a strong software engineer with solid infrastructure experience and a platform engineering mindset.
- You have built shared tooling, frameworks, and services that improve developer productivity, support clear engineering patterns, and enable teams to move faster with confidence.
- You are comfortable across application code, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness, while staying focused on clean, maintainable software.
- You collaborate well, raise engineering standards through code reviews and mentoring, and communicate technical direction clearly.
- Experience with AWS and/or multi-tenant SaaS platforms is highly desirable.
