About the Role

As a Full-stack Senior Software Engineer on our Trust & Safety team, you will be responsible for building our Risk Evaluation Platform. You will be one of two senior engineers working on this new initiative. The new platform will be used across our business units to make decisions in real time about customers and other associated events.


To drive success in this role, you need a mix of technical expertise and business acumen.  Regular collaboration with business stakeholders, product managers and cross domain team members will be essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design the architecture of our in house fraud evaluation platform.

  • Work with other senior members of the team to build the platform tailored to our internal use cases.

  • Work with product stakeholders to understand the use cases and translate the requirements into technical documentation.

  • Review architectural design documents from other team members.

  • Own the monitoring and alerting of new services associated with the platform.

  • Contribute to the technical delivery of complex, cross-stack initiatives related to Risk Evaluation Platform

Skills & Experience

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience with proven expertise in full-stack web application development.

  • Advanced Backend development experience with NestJS or equivalent Node.js frameworks including API design, database integration and distributed systems.

  • Solid proficiency in TypeScript and React

  • Comprehensive understanding of full-stack web services architecture from client-side optimization to server-side performance, including RESTful APIs, database design, and system integration patterns.

  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP.

  • Experience designing, developing and deploying full-stack services in NodeJS. 

  • Hands-on experience using AI coding tools to accelerate the development process.

  • Some experience with Python and Django backend services is nice to have.
