About the role and team

Come drive growth in a fast-paced, dynamic business. This role is part of the APAC Marketplace team, which tackles some of the region's most complex problems. These problems involve tough strategic decisions, requiring analytical rigour and close collaboration across Uber. For a tenacious truth seeker looking to unlock the next wave of growth across our marketplace, this is the team for you.

The Consumer Pricing team sits at the intersection of business strategy, marketplace dynamics and product innovation. We are responsible for setting, managing and optimising the fees consumers pay on Uber Eats, balancing affordability, growth and profitability across diverse APAC markets.

We are looking for a commercially minded, analytically strong operator who is equally comfortable diving deep into complex data and translating insights into action. You will be responsible for forecasting fee performance, defining pricing strategy, executing fee changes, monitoring outcomes and partnering with global Product and local Operations teams to develop and launch pricing solutions tailored to the needs of APAC markets. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical business lever for Uber's Delivery business, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver measurable business impact.

What you’ll do

  • Pricing strategy & optimisation: Develop and execute consumer pricing strategies that balance growth, affordability and profitability. Leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities, evaluate trade-offs and optimise fee structures across diverse APAC markets.
  • Forecasting & financial performance: Own the forecasting and ongoing management of consumer fee performance against financial targets. Build analytical models, evaluate scenarios and quantify the impact of pricing decisions to inform strategic and operational priorities.
  • Pricing execution & experimentation: Lead the end-to-end execution of pricing changes, from opportunity identification and business case development through to implementation and performance evaluation. Design and analyse experiments to understand consumer behaviour and optimise pricing outcomes.
  • Performance reporting & insights: Own the monitoring and reporting of consumer pricing performance, diagnosing trends and identifying opportunities or risks. Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for regional and local leadership.
  • Product strategy & launches: Partner with global Product and Engineering teams to shape the development and rollout of consumer pricing products. Represent APAC market needs, provide data-backed feedback on product capabilities and lead the operational implementation of new pricing solutions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with local Operations teams and cross-functional partners, including Finance, Legal, Tax and Product, to align pricing priorities, navigate market-specific requirements and ensure successful execution across the region.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, pricing, analytics, consulting or a similarly analytical and business-focused role.
  • Analytics: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience working with complex datasets, building financial or analytical models and translating findings into business recommendations. Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with SQL.
  • Problem solving: Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, evaluate trade-offs and use data to inform decisions.
  • Business acumen: Ability to understand complex business fundamentals, identify opportunities and evaluate the financial and customer impact of strategic decisions.
  • Ownership & execution: Proven ability to independently drive initiatives from analysis and strategy through to implementation, with strong attention to detail and a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to work effectively across functions and markets, communicate complex insights clearly and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining a high bar for quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pricing, revenue management, marketplace economics or business optimisation.
  • Experience with experimentation, statistical analysis, forecasting or consumer behaviour modelling.
  • Experience in a technology, marketplace or other data-intensive business.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application to analytics, modelling and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to go deep into technical domains and translate complex findings into compelling recommendations for senior leadership.
