The opportunity
We are seeking a talented Technical Officer - P8A Avionics to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the P-8A Poseidon. The role will be RAAF Base Edinburgh based.
Responsibilities:
As a P-8A Avionics Senior Technical Officer supporting the P8 engineering team you will
  • Deliver technical solutions for operational issues as well as modification support, rapid acquisition and address long term engineering investigations.
  • Develop and evaluate technical documents and instructions.
  • Liaise with defence stakeholders to support and find solutions for technical issues.

Experience/Qualifications
  • Qualifications in aircraft maintenance engineering or equivalent technical experience in an avionics/electrical/electronic discipline.
  • P-8A Experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with engineering change processes.
