We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Analyst (Functional Testing) to contribute to a major core technology infrastructure upgrade program within the Bank.
This role is part of the Payments Settlements department, Business Services Group. Business Services Group is responsible for the provision of banking and payments services to Australian Government agencies, the provision of payment settlement services to Australian financial system participants through the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) and the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), the conduct of Exchange Settlement Accounts and the production and issuance of Australian banknotes.
As a Senior Automation Test Analyst, you will ensure the systems, services, configurations, packages and interfaces perform as expected, and the risks associated with deployment are adequately identified, mitigated and accepted by all relevant parties.
A key focus of the role is to drive optimisation of the test automation framework and scripts, perform updates and creation of automated scripts required to deliver regular rapid changes to PS systems.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual with
Must have hands-on experience in using build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, etc), source control management tools (e.g. Git Lab, SVN, etc) and continuous integration tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc) in support of automation.
Must have experience in Selenium-Java
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the delivery of test automation frameworks, scripts and tools. Experience in Cucumber - Serenity framework is desirable.
Experience in working with testing tools (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr, Database tools).
Proven experience in planning, support and testing of functional changes to mission critical systems.
Knowledge and experience working with Waterfall and/or Agile project methodology, as well as Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery processes.
Knowledge of payment, clearing and settlement systems and associated technologies.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence, collaborate and communicate strongly with team and key stakeholders.
Degree in IT, business, finance or other relevant discipline.
