monday.com is looking for a Senior Workplace Specialist to take ownership of our APJ offices across Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo and Melbourne. Based in Sydney - our APJ Regional Hub - you'll be the heartbeat of our regional workplace experience, responsible for keeping our offices functional, beautiful and buzzing with the monday culture our people love.
About The Role
Own day-to-day workplace operations across our APJ offices (~180 employees), with Sydney as your primary base
Triage and resolve facilities tickets within SLA, identifying opportunities to operate more efficiently at scale across the region
Manage and elevate our food and beverage program, ensuring it reflects local culture and employee needs
Partner key stakeholders including People Experience,Procurement, Legal, Finance & IT, to deliver moments that connect and inspire our APJ community
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and capital works with property management teams and external vendors across all four sites
Plan and execute workplace projects including office refreshes, internal moves, storage, and sustainability initiatives
Monitor facilities systems (building security, HVAC, MEP) and respond to office emergencies as needed, including outside business hours
Own vendor relationships across the region - managing performance, driving accountability, and sourcing new partners as the business grows
Support internal communications related to workplace updates and office experience across APJ
Bring an innovative mindset to constantly improve procedures and create a workplace that reflects monday's standards globally
Please note: This position requires 4-5 days in the office, with the possibility to work from home on some Fridays and alternate quiet days
Your Experience & Skills
4+ years in workplace, facilities, or office management - experience across multiple sites or locations is a strong advantage
Comfortable working autonomously with a high degree of ownership, reporting into a global team across multiple time zones - you don't need hand-holding to get things done
Confident engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, able to present updates, manage expectations and influence decisions without direct authority
Proven track record managing a food program, vendor relationships, and day-to-day office operations in a fast-paced environment
Strong project management skills - you've run office builds, relocations, or major fit-outs before
Excellent communicator with a customer-centric approach and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels
Comfortable operating across multiple time zones and navigating different cultural contexts across APJ
Highly organised, able to juggle competing priorities and short deadlines without dropping the ball
Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management tools (monday.com experience is a bonus - and yes, we use our own product!)
Willingness to travel across the APJ region as needed
