How you'll make an impact

As our ServiceNow ITOM Developer, you’ll play a key role in strengthening AMP’s operational resilience, service visibility and technology transformation journey. Working within the ServiceNow Platform Team, you’ll help design, implement and optimise ITOM capabilities across Discovery, Service Mapping, Cloud Operations, CMDB, observability and automation — ensuring AMP has the right data, insights and platform foundations to support reliable, scalable and efficient technology operations. 

This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly influence how ServiceNow becomes a core enabler of operational excellence across AMP. You’ll partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors and platform specialists to translate business and operational needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions, improve CMDB maturity, enhance automation, support regulatory alignment and identify opportunities to leverage AI, Predictive Intelligence, Now Assist and operational analytics to improve outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role

You’ll bring strong ServiceNow ITOM experience, with proven capability across implementation, configuration and support of core modules such as CMDB, Discovery, Service Graph Connectors and MID Servers. You’ll be confident working with ServiceNow platform tools including Flow Designer, Workflow Data Fabric and App Engine Studio, and will have a strong understanding of scripting, APIs, integrations and scalable solution design in complex technology environments. 

Beyond the technical depth, you’ll bring strong consulting, stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You’ll be able to understand complex infrastructure and platform challenges, translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions and build trusted relationships across technology, risk, vendors and business teams. ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS–CMDB and ITIL v4 Foundation will be highly regarded, along with experience in ITOM implementation and configuration
