Profile Requirements:

  • Social Media Platform Expertise: Minimum 2.5 years in a social media support role with proficiency across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn; understanding of platform algorithms and audience demographics.
  • Social Media Management Background: Minimum 1 year in a strategic social media manager or content coordinator role developing content calendars and driving audience growth.
  • Video Editing & Photo Editing Skills: Strong technical skills in video and photo editing software (CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent); ability to maintain visual consistency across platforms.
  • Bakery, Event Planning, or Hospitality Industry Experience: Preferred experience in celebration, bakery, event planning, or wedding sectors; familiarity with how social media drives event bookings and corporate gift sales.
  • Brand Aesthetic Awareness & Design Sensibility: Demonstrated ability to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic (clean, elevated, boutique style); ability to create content for women aged 20-60 across brides, families, and corporate buyers.
  • Written Communication & Hashtag/SEO Knowledge: Strong written communication skills for crafting captions; working knowledge of hashtag research and trending topics to maximize organic reach.

Core responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Curation: Create social media posts from client-provided images, develop content calendars for seasonal celebrations and product launches, and maintain consistent posting across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn for audiences aged 20-60.
  • Video Production & Editing: Edit and publish short-form video content including reels and stories using CapCut; combine footage with music, transitions, and graphics for all social platforms.
  • Caption Writing & Description Optimization: Craft compelling captions and descriptions reflecting the elevated, boutique aesthetic while incorporating trending hashtags and calls-to-action tailored to each platform.
  • Hashtag Strategy & Algorithm Optimization: Research and implement trending hashtags for celebration, bakery, and event planning sectors; apply platform-specific posting schedules to maximize reach and visibility.
  • Community Management & Direct Engagement: Monitor and respond to direct messages, engage with customer inquiries, and manage relationships to support product sales and event bookings.
  • Website & E-Commerce Support: Update Square website content and assist with e-commerce functionality to enable year-round online ordering and support corporate gift and event sales.
