The Social Media Manager supports the execution and optimisation of paid social campaigns across Qantas’ social media channels in both Australia and Rest of World markets. This role plays a key part in delivering high-performing paid content that supports revenue generation, marketing campaigns, and brand activations.

Working closely with the Social Media Lead, the role is responsible for implementing paid social strategies, managing campaign set-up and performance, and ensuring content is effectively amplified to reach the right audiences. The role also contributes to the development of best practices and insights that inform broader social media and marketing strategies.

This position collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver engaging, data-driven campaigns that drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is a paid social expert with a passion for performance marketing and a strong understanding of platform capabilities and analytics.

You’ll have –

  • 5 years of experience in paid social media or digital marketing
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Proven experience managing paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn etc
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign reporting, optimisation, and budget management
  • Familiarity with social media content formats and creative best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external agencies
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for testing, learning, and staying ahead of platform trends
