About the role

We are seeking a creative and data-drivenSocial Media Specialist to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth in South Korea Market. In this role, you will be a key player in building and nurturing thriving online communities for our platform through building, managing, and engaging the organization's community, acting as a liaison to foster engagement, loyalty, and brand advocacy.   

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging community strategies that align with the company and drive client conversion, engagement, loyalty, and retention. 
  • Ensure consistent messaging, content delivery, and community interaction across various platforms (social media, forums, Discord, Telegram, Kakao, Naver). 
  • Actively engage with clients on community platforms, including webinars and participating in client discussions. 
  • Respond to client questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive community environment where clients feel valued and respected. 
  • Plan and execute community events, contests, and giveaways to drive excitement and engagement. 
  • Analyze community health metrics (e.g., engagement, sentiment, churn rates) to identify trends, understand user behaviour, and inform data-driven decisions. 
  • Leverage community data and insights to optimize community strategies and improve the client experience. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, marketing, sales etc) to integrate community feedback into product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and overall strategy. 
  • Effectively manage community crises, ensuring clear, timely, and empathetic communication during sensitive situations. 
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in community management and engagement.

Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in community management, social media management, or a related field. 
  • Passion for gaming/trading/finance and a deep understanding of client psychology and online communities. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. 
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging and informative content. 
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Meta, X, Instagram, Discord, Kakao, Naver, Telegram etc.). 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. 
  • As this role handles the South Korea market and reports to the global team, proficiency in Korean and/or English/Mandarin is necessary. 
  • Similar industry experience (brokerage / gaming) a plus.
