We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and leveraging AI to modernize quality engineering.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who views quality as a platform capability, builds intelligent automation solutions, and continuously improves engineering productivity through AI-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable frontend and backend automation frameworks from scratch
  • Develop and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines and modern test environments
  • Define and execute unit, API, integration, E2E, performance, and non-functional test strategies
  • Validate scalability, reliability, security, and distributed system behaviour.
  • Perform deep debugging and root cause analysis
  • Lead shift-left quality practices and improve testability across teams
  • Build AI-powered utilities for test generation, synthetic data, regression optimization, flaky test detection, and defect triage
  • Integrate LLM-based workflows into quality pipelines
  • Collaborate with R&D, DevOps, Product, and Infra to drive company-wide automation excellence
  • Champion AI-first thinking in solving repetitive engineering problems


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6–9 years of experience in automation architecture, functional & non-functional testing, and test strategy
Technical Skills
  • Strong coding skills in Python or JavaScript (C# is a plus)
  • Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch
  • Experience with API/UI testing, distributed systems validation, and CI/CD tools
  • Cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
AI & Innovation Mindset
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools
  • Experience building AI-powered utilities or productivity tools
  • Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM-based code/test generation
  • Curiosity-driven, experimentation mindset
Nice to have
  • Experience in cloud-native SaaS environments
  • Exposure to MLOps or AI testing frameworks
  • Experience in fast-scaling product companies
  • Contributions to open-source or internal developer tools
  • Exposure to Performance, load testing
