Position Overview
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our scrum team in Pune, India, contributing to the Fusion Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM). MFGDM is the foundation of the Manufacturing Cloud and the core data framework for Autodesk's flagship product, Autodesk Fusion. You will report to the manager and work in a hybrid mode.
Responsibilities

Work within a scrum team of about 7-8 engineers

Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer and project requirements from the PO/PM
-
Partner with other scrum teams located in Canada and other global sites

Design, implement, and validate major MFGDM modules and component services

Develop tools to facilitate high-quality service and component development, including resiliency analysis, performance/scalability/stability monitoring, and automation testing

Apply best engineering practices in your work
Minimum Qualifications
-
2 to 5 years of software development experience in commercialized products or systems
-
Strong fundamentals in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
-
Project experience or working knowledge of major JS development frameworks, such as React.js

Preferred exposure to AWS, Java, and databases

Experience with cloud project development

BS or higher in computer science or a related technical discipline

Understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to take on challenges and step out of your comfort zone to grow

Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js

Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms like Azure
