At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.

So, what’s the role all about?
We are looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the technical design and development of one of our key product domains and deliver meaningful outcomes. You'll operate in a high-growth, autonomous environment where speed, ownership, and technical excellence go hand-in-hand.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a technically strong engineer who delivers through expertise, collaboration, and initiative. You'll work closely with senior engineers and your squad, contributing to systems that are scalable, reliable, and secure — within an engineering culture focused on accountability and results.

How will you make an impact?

  • Contribute to end-to-end technical delivery within your squad — from design to deployment and ongoing optimisation.
  • Take ownership of your assigned tasks and features, ensuring quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
  • Engage with ambiguity and translate well-defined problems into clear, actionable technical tasks.
  • Design and build features within robust, enterprise-grade SaaS applications leveraging modern, event-driven, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Write clear Epics and Stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that meet engineering standards and are actionable for the team.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations to deliver solutions that create real customer value.
  • Uphold engineering excellence by following and applying the team's engineering standards, delivery processes, and ways of working — including clean code, test planning, CI/CD, observability, and secure coding practices.
  • Actively participate in peer reviews and design discussions, contributing to shared team knowledge.
  • Be proactive and self-driven — identifying and flagging improvements across systems and processes, and contributing to their resolution.

Have you got what it takes?

  • 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Solid full-stack skills with TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
  • Front-end proficiency with Vue.js and Angular.
  • Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience across SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
  • Understanding of application performance and security best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and contributing effectively within a team in fast-moving, evolving environments.
