About the role: 

As a Software Engineer, SalesForce Financial Services Cloud within our Technology & Transformation division, you will play a pivotal role providing technical deployment, development, maintenance, support, and improvement of member-centric platforms. The Software Engineer, Financial Services Cloud will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of member platform solutions, aligning them with business objectives, ensuring reliability, scalability, and an outstanding user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Software Development: Execute the development, implementation, and enhancement of member platform applications, adhering to coding best practices, quality standards, and industry trends.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, delivery leads and analysts, to ensure effective collaboration and seamless integration of member platforms with other systems and applications.

  • Agile Methodology: Drive the adoption of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and promote continuous improvement within the team.

  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, technical standards and guidelines, support documentation and system documentation, to ensure clarity and maintainability of member platform solutions.

  • Performance Optimisation: Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement within member platforms, collaborating with the team to implement optimisation strategies.

 

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: 

  • Extensive development experience in Salesforce.

  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce and Javascript

  • Experience with flows

  • Experience in Sales and Service 

  • Ability to write and interpret technical specifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A master's degree or MBA can be advantageous. 

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1 is mandatory.
