What’s the role?
We are seeking a Sydney based Software Engineer to join our Growth Product team – the primary entry point for customers into the Aussie and Lendi businesses. This team owns and optimises key areas of our website, including property reports, credit scores, calculators, landing pages, web content, and our core customer acquisition funnels.
Job Description- Play an integral part in influencing the engineering team’s rhythm, culture and processes which could positively impact architecture and design, coding, deployment, and support.
- Be part of a team that is responsible for integral parts of the system, designing and delivering robust and scalable solutions.
- Own the code you and your team build, which means supporting debugging and monitoring in production.
- Write clean, maintainable code that is suitable for continuous integration and deployment.
- Work with our Product/UX team to imagine the visual and interaction patterns appropriate for our customers.
- Grow your product, technical, and soft skills as part of the Acquire cross-functional team.
- Help us continuously improve the team’s ways of working and processes.
- 2-3 years experience in ReactJS (we use Typescript)
- 2-3 years experience in NodeJS
- Experience developing RESTful Services and the ability to align API contracts with other teams.
- Proficient understanding of Git and source code management tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Strong interest in learning and writing different types of automated tests such as unit, integration, performance, and others.
- Having previously worked in a similar role as part of an agile team.
- Exposure to, or hands-on experience using, AI-powered tools (such as code assistants, chatbots, or productivity apps) to support and enhance engineering tasks.
