Job Description


Build solutions that power a leading property marketplace


We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Trade Platform Team, where you'll help develop and support the systems that power customer subscriptions, billing, product entitlements, and agency integrations across Domain.


Working primarily with C# and .NET, you'll contribute to business-critical platforms that manage customer billing and usage charges, subscription tiers, premium listing experiences, and agency booking services. Your work will directly impact how customers interact with our products and how listings are promoted across the platform.


What You'll Do


  • Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions using C# and .NET.
  • Support systems responsible for customer billing, usage charging, and subscription management.
  • Build functionality that enables premium product features, including listing prioritisation, promotional placements, and customer entitlements.
  • Maintain and improve agency booking APIs and integrations.
  • Design, develop and support scalable applications from concept through to production.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to deliver customer value.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve production issues across critical systems.
  • Contribute to code quality, testing, security and engineering best practices.
  • Participate in a shared on-call roster supporting business-critical applications.
  • Continuously improve platform performance, reliability and scalability.

Ideally You'll Have


  • Commercial experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and design principles.
  • Experience working with SQL databases and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience delivering solutions that are scalable, reliable and maintainable.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within Agile teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • A passion for continuous learning and improving engineering practices.
