Profile Requirements:

• Streaming Platform Development Experience: Proven experience developing streaming applications or media platforms, including hands-on work with SDK integrations such as Muvi or comparable OTT frameworks.
• App Store & Platform Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrated familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play developer guidelines, submission workflows, compliance reviews, and update cycles.
• Web Development & Platform Tools: Strong experience implementing website features tied to content submission and media workflows, with Bolt.new experience preferred.
• Cloud & Backend Infrastructure Expertise: Experience working with Amazon AWS or similar cloud environments to support file ingestion, storage, processing pipelines, and scalable backend systems.
• Content & Metadata Workflow Familiarity: Understanding of film or media distribution intake processes, including metadata requirements, asset management, and preparation for platform pitching and submission.
• Industry-Aligned Communication & Documentation: Ability to document workflows, surface issues clearly, and provide structured notes or feedback to internal teams and clients in a professional media-industry context.

Core responsibilities:

• Streaming App Development & SDK Integration: Implement and maintain Muvi’s SDK within a custom streaming application, ensuring reliable playback, content access, user experience stability, and alignment with the platform’s distribution model.
• App Store Compliance & Submission: Prepare, validate, and manage application builds to meet Apple App Store and Google Play submission requirements, including policy compliance, technical standards, updates, and resubmissions.
• Website Feature Implementation: Develop and deploy required website functionality to support film submissions, distribution workflows, and platform operations, with experience using Bolt.new considered a strong advantage.
• Cloud Infrastructure & Content Intake Systems: Build or manage cloud-based systems using AWS or a comparable platform to securely receive film submissions, store assets, and support scalable content workflows.
• Quality Control & Technical Review: Perform or automate technical quality control checks on submitted content, including file integrity, delivery specs, formats, and readiness for downstream distribution.
• Metadata & Intake Workflow Management: Oversee the end-to-end intake process by collecting, reviewing, organizing, and returning complete metadata packages to the internal team for pitching and submission to streaming partners, including compiling notes and feedback for clients.
