As a Software Implementation Engineer, you'll configure and deploy warehouse software, debug across various systems, train customers, and lead integration activities.
Kardex AutoStore specializes in innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions. Kardex AutoStore is growing fast in APAC, and we’re looking for a Software Implementation Engineer to join our Sydney team. This role blends warehouse automation, backend configuration/debugging/development, support and customer facing project work.
Your tasks
What You’ll Do
- Configure, deploy & implement our Kardex Warehouse Execution Software (WES)
- Debug across databases, APIs, microservices & middleware
- Analyse logs (Apache log4j) and troubleshoot issues
- Work with automated system such as AutoStore and more + customer WMS/ERP integrations
- Train customers & provide Level 3 software support
- Lead on site software integration activities collaborating with commissioning engineers and customer
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
Tech Stack & Skills
- Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Messaging: RabbitMQ basics
- Backend: Core Java, Spring Boot, Java Spark
- Debugging: Microservice layers, Apache log4j
- Bonus: .NET / C#, Python scripting, Power BI
- 3+ years in software deployment, integration, or automation systems
