At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Solutions Engineer

Snowflake is growing fast, and we are looking for a Solutions Engineer to help customers understand, evaluate, and realise the value of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to connect customer business challenges with modern data and AI solutions. You will be a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey, combining strong technical depth with customer-facing communication, solution design, and practical execution.

What you will do
  • Partner with account executives and cross-functional teams to drive the technical win across the sales cycle.

  • Present Snowflake’s vision, platform, and value to both technical and executive audiences.

  • Work hands-on with prospects and customers through discovery sessions, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.

  • Guide customers on modern data architecture, solution design, and implementation approaches across analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, performance, and governance.

  • Translate customer business challenges into practical solution patterns that drive adoption and long-term value.

  • Build trusted relationships with architects, engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders within strategic accounts.

  • Maintain an understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake effectively in relation to them.

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products, messaging, and field effectiveness.

  • Help customers stay current on Snowflake product innovation, roadmap developments, and emerging use cases.

  • Represent Snowflake in customer meetings, executive briefings, workshops, and industry events.

What we’re looking for
  • Experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales role.

  • Strong competency across modern data stacks, including ETL/ELT, data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, and cloud-native data platforms.

  • Experience working with enterprise customers in complex technical and stakeholder environments.

  • Strong hands-on technical capability, including SQL and Python.

  • Ability to connect a customer’s technical and business challenges to a practical Snowflake solution.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.

  • Confidence facilitating whiteboarding sessions, technical workshops, and solution discussions.

  • A pragmatic, collaborative approach and a willingness to be hands-on in driving customer success.

  • Strong relationship-building capability and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear business narratives.

Nice to have
  • Experience with AI and machine learning deployment workflows.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Experience with large-scale database technologies and cloud data platforms.

  • Background in enterprise SaaS and complex technical sales cycles.

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

What success looks like
  • You establish credibility quickly with technical teams and key stakeholders.

  • You translate Snowflake capabilities into clear business and technical value.

  • You create technical champions and trusted relationships within the customer environment.

  • You contribute to immediate deal progression as well as long-term account growth.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
