Across Australia, we work with leading enterprise and public sector organisations to deliver meaningful impact through technology.

About the role

We’re looking for a Solution Engineering Manager to lead our Business Process Solution Engineering team across Australia. This is a high-impact leadership role, combining people leadership, technical depth and customer engagement.

You will lead a team focused on helping customers reimagine their business processes across CRM, ERP, Contact Centre and Power Platform, driving transformation through innovative, outcome-driven solutions.

This role suits a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable coaching a team, shaping technical strategy, and engaging directly with senior stakeholders and C-level leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the team’s technical business plan, including account and territory planning, pipeline development and fiscal performance
  • Partner across sales, customer success and the partner ecosystem to shape strategy, unblock challenges and drive technical wins
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and senior stakeholders, guiding technology decisions aligned to business outcomes
  • Coach the team to diagnose complex challenges, challenge assumptions and deliver innovative, outcome-focused solutions
  • Drive a customer-centric culture, ensuring deep understanding of customer needs and long-term priorities
  • Ensure technical excellence and consistency across engagements through best practice, orchestration and strong execution
  • Champion AI readiness and innovation, positioning Microsoft as a strategic thought partner
  • Act as a key technical leader in market, bringing industry insight and thought leadership to customers and internal teams
  • Operate with executive maturity, navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in high-pressure environments

Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading and developing technical or solution engineering teams
  • Strong background in business applications (CRM, ERP, Contact Centre, or automation platforms)
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite
  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer-focused solutions and measurable business outcomes
  • Experience operating in enterprise customer environments

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Power Platform or low-code automation technologies
  • Background in pre-sales, solution consulting or technical sales leadership
  • Exposure to public sector (government, healthcare) environments
  • Strong storytelling and executive communication skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical engagement with strategic leadership

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
