The Solutions Architect at CT is responsible for designing innovative, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet client needs while aligning with Centorrino Technologies’ service capabilities and strategic direction. This role bridges the gap between business objectives and technical implementation, playing a key part in pre-sales, project delivery, and ongoing client engagement. The Solutions Architect works collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful design, documentation, and transition of solutions into operational environments.

What you'll do:

  • Translate customer business objectives and technical requirements into end-to-end solution designs across cloud, modern workplace, security, networking, and hybrid infrastructure.

  • Design solutions across Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Dynamics, Teams, and Power Platform, as well as private cloud, VMware, Kubernetes, and Veeam environments.
  • Ensure security and compliance are embedded by design, aligned to Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF, ACSC guidance, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver integrated, secure, scalable, and fit-for-purpose solution designs, including for large and complex projects.
  • Apply and contribute to architecture standards, reusable patterns, and reference designs to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Conduct peer reviews, provide technical guidance, and share knowledge with engineers and consultants to support successful delivery.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs, scope solutions, support discovery workshops, demonstrations, solution validation, proposals, and tender responses.
  • Lead architectural handover into delivery, ensuring solutions can be effectively implemented, supported, and maintained.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry best practices, applying relevant innovations to customer solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of architecture standards, tooling, documentation, and ways of working.

What you'll bring:

  • Deep expertise across Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, identity, security, networking, virtualisation (VMware/Kubernetes), and backup solutions (Veeam).
  • Sound understanding of security architecture and Australian frameworks including Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF, ACSC guidance, with ISO 27001 and NIST highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to develop architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, roadmaps, and decision records using recognised frameworks such as TOGAF, Microsoft Well-Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework, and Zero Trust.
  • Relevant Microsoft architecture, security, and identity certifications (e.g. AZ-305) highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience leading solution architecture and technical design for large, complex, multi-technology projects.
  • Experience developing architecture standards, reusable patterns, and reference architectures, with an understanding of managed services and project delivery models.
  • Background in solution architecture, technical consulting, or senior engineering roles within MSP or multi-customer environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change, mentor others, and collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments.
